2 cups of plain yogurt
1/4 cup of canola oil
2 teaspoons of crushed garlic
1 medium yellow onion
1 bunch of fresh spinach
1/8 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon of freshly ground coriander seeds


1. wash the spinach and chop it into small pieces
2. Add an inch of water to a medium sized saucepan and cook spinach for about 5 minutes until the spinach is wilted. Next, drain out the water.
3. Peel the outer skin of the onion and copy it finely.
4. Heat the il in a frying pan over a medium heat and sauté the onions and the garlic together.
5. Add the spinach and cook together for another 2-3 minutes, then remove from the stove and let cool down.
6. Mix the yogurt, with the spinach mixture, pepper, salt, coriander seeds and cayenne pepper and put in the refrigerator overnight.
