1 cup of water
1 teaspoon of crushed garlic
1 medium bell pepper (red or green), chopped into small pieces
1 medium yellow onion, chopped into small pieces
1 pound of lean ground beef
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of black pepper
1 teaspoon of freshly ground coriander seeds
2 boxes of puff pastry sheets


This recipe will produce approximately 34-36 appetizers. Once made, they can be frozen, but should be thawed before cooking.

First, preheat the oven to 350º F

1. sauté the ground been in a medium frying pay, on medium heat until lightly cooked.
2. Add the salt, black pepper, garlic, bel pepper, coriander seeds, water and onion to the meat and cook over a medium heat until most of the water is evaporated.
3. Defrost puff pastry sheets for approximately 20 minutes before using them. Then cut the pastry into 2 inch squares.
4. Put a very large teaspoon of the meat mixture in the middle of each square and fold the pastry into the the shape of a triangle. Seal the edges gently by pressing together.
5. After placing on a large cookie sheet, bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until they are light brown in color and the pastry is puffed up.

Serve with some traditional yogurt sauce.
