4 tablespoons tahini
2-15 oz. cans chickpeas or garbanzo beans (drained)
1 medium sized lemon (freshly squeezed)
2 teaspoons of crushed garlic
1 teaspoon of salt
3 tablespoons of water
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons water


Place all the ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend until very smooth.

Garnish with1 tablespoon olive oil and 1 pinch of paprika.

Serve by spreading the mixture on a platter and some olive oil and paprika on top. Goes well with fresh pita or naan bread.
